    Hello.
We have started to use MailPoet plugin for managing subscribers and send newsletters. Everything seems to be understandable and useful for not-technical editors. But there is one important issue for our end customers, basically subscribers. So, if using standard Android email app it seems that newsletter emails, created via MailPoet are not responsive, so, it is really inconveniently to read. I’ve checked the plugin code, just wondering, if there is a possibility to create/override existing email templates, for adding responsive stylesheet.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

  • Hello skoll42, unfortunately we’ve tried to add responsiveness to Android, however a lot of issues arised and we decided to remove it from now to not cause any damages to existing users.

We are actively working on that, but I’m afraid we don’t have a solution yet for that.

    Sorry for any inconveniences!

    Hey, just to clarify.

Our newsletters are mobile “friendly”, and not “responsive” per say.

This means that our newsletters will appear a little zoomed out, but will still be readable.

Note that on Android, the default “Email” app will be phased out and replaced by Gmail.

    Cheers!

    Hello
Just want to know you did not make responsiveness feature better yet?

    Thanks

Our plugin is not responsive yet, we are working on that for our next version: http://www.mailpoet.com/mailpoet-version-3/

Definitely looking forward to it! One of my subscribers just wrote me; he uses an iPhone and it was a pain to read my emails, he said.
