Responsive Gallery Columns

First, thanks for the great plugin 🙂

Suggestion for responsive gallery columns:
It would be really great to be able to choose a maximum number of columns in the settings, and then have the columns collapse (masonry style) as the browser view area shrinks. For instance, starting with x columns for a full desktop view, and then fewer columns as the view shrinks, and finally just one column for a small phone screen size.

The problem I see now is that on a smart phone, the gallery display ends up with very small thumbnails in x number of columns.
