Responsive? Logo resizes too small.

OK, two things.

1. When I upload an image to use as a background, it becomes unusable on a phone. The landing page becomes way too wide. I reduced the size of the image to match the size of the stock background images but that does not help. Ant ideas?

2. When I upload a logo to the landing page, it reduces in size so it is nearly too small to see. Whether I choose Full Size, Large, or Medium, it is the same. Any ideas?
