Responsive menu button not working

    Hi there,

    I’m using a child theme of Colinear at http://www.erdingwall.com.

    For some reason the menu button has stopped working in tablet/mobile view. It changes colour when clicked, but no menu appears.

    I’ve been tinkering with some other things, but not sure why they would have affected this.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there!

    My first suggestion would be to try removing the recent changes you mention to see if that restores the menu functionality – then you’ll know for sure if the two are related 🙂

    If that doesn’t do the trick, the next step would be to check for a plugin conflict.

    Deactivate all of your plugins, then test the mobile menu. If it works, start turning plugins on and retesting it to determine where the problem is coming from.

    Hi @andyjh!

    Have you made any changes to the theme files, or installed any new plugins recently?

    It looks like the files inside the theme that make the menu appear on mobile aren’t being loaded.

    Try removing any customizations you’ve made, and disabling all of your plugins to test for a conflict. If that doesn’t reveal the source, try removing and reinstalling the theme.

    Let me know what you find!

    EDIT: The menu now works on my son’s phone so the problem appears to be solved.

    I had already tested already tested all the changes I made with no result before posting.

    Deactivating, deleting, uploading, installing and activating Colinear once more has fixed the menu on my desktop browsers with the screen collapsed, but on my android phone it still does not work. I have completely cleared my browser cache to no avail.

    So if the mobile menu works now on computer browsers but not on the phone it must be a cellphone issue.

    Hi all,

    I’m wondering if someone would be able to assist me. My primary menu (mobile menu) button won’t toggle down. I can click on it, but nothing happens. My website is http://www.completeevaluations.com I used the SoSimple theme, but can’t get a hold of the developer. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi,

    I’m using BE tgheme and am trying to add a newsletter signup button in the menu. I put the CSS class in the theme CSS file and class name in the menu item CSS field. When I look the page, the menu item is them but not as a button. When I view the source, I see the class and the name in the menu item. How can I get it to show? Please help!
