    Hey there,

Please read the FAQ tab and the other support questions, you have too low a version of PHP.

Please upgrade to PHP 5.4 or higher.

    All the best

I had this on one of my sites – the PHP version was too old. Changing to a more up-to-date version of PHP fixed it.

    Hey deargeek,

    Thanks for the input.

I’m interested to know of improvements I can make for people to know that this is the cause.

I have tried putting it in the FAQ section, Changelog, upgrade page, on my site etc. but it seems people are still missing it.

    Any ideas?

Could you put a message in the actual WordPress update page? Most people update first and look for the info later!

I notice some plugins seem to have a message below the Compatibility with WordPress 4.5.3: 100% (according to its author) part.

    Hi there,

I had added this information to the Upgrade Notices section, Im not sure why it is not showing to users before upgrading.

Thanks for letting me know that this is not working – I will take a look and test it out shortly.

    All the best
