Responsive Question Zoom Level Request

Congratulations, this really is a very neat plugin, just got a few of questions for you.
1) When testing on various devices the map I have created does not appear to be responsive on my phone. The map is 850x500px and it does not resize for the mobile screen – maybe this is a limitation of a large map?
2) If I resize my browser to the size of a phone on my desktop I can use the mouse to drag the map around to view all of it. On my phone and tablet using touch screen my finger does not seems to drag the map about or resize with a two finger pinch. Is this how it should be?
3) Why limit the zoom to 14 & is there any way I can alter the code to allow me to set the default zoom to 15 or even 16? I am mapping an event in a small town with venues close together so 14 shows my markers all bunched on top of each other which is not ideal.
Really appreciate any comments and your work on this plugin.
