Responsive slideshow does not shrink height?

Hi,
I am using the slideshow plugin and have the settings set to:

Maximum width. 100%
Proportional relationship between slideshow’s width and height (width:height): 3.28:1
Slideshow’s height: 290
Fit image into slide (Stretch image: Yes
Shrink slideshow’s height when width shrinks: Yes
Enable responsiveness (Shrink slideshow’s width when page’s width shrinks): Yes

However, when I view it on my iphone the height of the slideshow doesn’t appear to have shrunk… the content beneath it has a large white space above it.

Can anyone help me?
