REST API Issue

    Hi,

    I recently contacted you through your site contact page but didn’t realize that was only for licensed users.

    I am having an issue accessing the Media Cleaner plugin due to issues with REST Api. I have followed the steps outlined in troubleshooting the issue and am still experiencing the problem.

    I initially disabled my security plugin thinking that may be the issue, and have also checked that my site is running REST API. As far as I can tell my site is running REST Api and after deactivating the security plugin, I still got the REST API issue within Media Cleaner.

    Permalinks are on day and night, not plain. There are no PHP error logs that I can see.

    Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated! I am looking forward to using this plugin!

    Hi,

    REST issues are very tricky to debug 🙁 Unfortunately, I can only give pointers.

    Is your install very big/personal? It would be interested to get a backup with the files and the DB export so that I can debug what’s happening.

    Have you tried talking with your hosting service? Maybe they will have more ideas of what’s happening (they have logs of the errors/issues)
