I was using the app just fine until a couple days ago when I started to see the REST API error at the top of my screen. I turned off all my plugins aside from The Events Calendar, and loaded a default theme, and the issue persists. Everything looks fine, the links work, and my host is still looking for a problem. Turned off caching apps, saved my permalinks, and did all the little things AI told me to do. Another new issue is that I cannot change the view of my calendar, and when I select a new month, it doesn’t go anywhere. I can click the events and go to them if they’re loaded on the screen, but I cannot navigate anything from the front end. Not sure what the problem is.

    Hi @cactuscat ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I tired visiting your calendar page (https://www.mosaicmustangs.com/events) but this seems to be private and behind a login screen, which is making it difficult for me to check the actual situation.

Anyway, a lot of these situations can be attributed to caching. So, if you have caching solutions on your site (plugin and/or server-side), kindly try purging its cache to see if that alleviates the situation.

Otherwise, I suspect there’s a conflict that’s causing the issue here. It would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?

    1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
    2. Switching to the Default theme.

Please read the Testing for Conflicts Article before doing anything.
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website

Sometimes we just need to step away from the project and come back to it later. I had actually disabled REST API in BuddyPress. It was my fault. Thanks for your help. lol

I’m glad to hear that you’ve successfully resolved the issue.

If you have some time to review, that would be amazing!
