I have a multisite and I’m able to use the rest api for posts/tags/etc for specific sites but I was wondering if there’s a away to get a list of sites on the network using the rest api?

Oooo! Good question. I don’t see any controller for sites in the core API code, so I’m inclined to say by default there is not a way. However, you can create your own custom route/endpoint that will supply the information you want. Which is essentially what the solution in nando99’s link does.
