Do you have Contact Form 7 installed?
Did you click the CF7 integration checkbox?
Did you not click the fix CF7 integration option?
Something is hijacking the form submit and trying to use the rest api. This plugin does not use the rest api.
That’s generally CF7 hijacking the form.
We fixed the error. Form now doesn’t have that error.
However, it seems the plugin is not creating a new leads in Salesforce even when a new lead is submitted through the contact form. Any ideas?
Enable debug mode (read the FAQ) and you should get an email from SF explaining why leads are being rejected.
Hey Nick,
Read your FAQ. Do I add these hidden fields in Salesforce or WordPress?
Add them too your form. Make sure they are enabled but choose hidden for type.
Thanks Nick,
I created the hidden debug fields. I am not sure what I am suppose to be seeing? Does this create a debug log that gets emailed to me?
Please advise.
Submit the form with some test data.
You will receive an email response from Salesforce with the results of the lead submission.
Hey Nick,
I’ve been submitting test leads for awhile without an email from Salesforce with the results of the lead submission. Instead, I’m getting emails from wordpress side stating what information has been submitted and through which form.
That’s a Salesforce feature. I can’t help you any more than pointing you to it.
