    Hi guys!

For some reason, I get this message when I try to restore a backup.

    Restore backup from: Nov 29, 2017 5:22
Retrieving (if necessary) and preparing backup files…
The backup archive files have been processed, but with some warnings. If all is well, then now press Restore again to proceed. Otherwise, cancel and correct any problems first.
    Backup of: https://www.oozox.com (version: 4.9)
    Warnings:
    • This backup set is from a different site – this is not a restoration, but a migration. You need the Migrator add-on in order to make this work.

I don’t know why It tells me that it’s a migration because I don’t have any other website. Any help, please!?

    Greetings,

    Hi,

If the warning is wrong, then you can just click through it. It will still allow you to restore. I will add this to our list of things to look at. We don’t currently have any other reports of the same thing. Though, first, can you confirm your UD version? Is it the latest, 1.13.15? If it’s not the current version then that’s something that’s now been resolved already.

    David

I am having this same issue and I am using the latest version of the plugin. I have an automatic backup set for every week, and two weeks ago, Updraft inexplicably started saving to a new Updraft folder in my Google Drive that I didn’t create. I tried to restore files from the original Updraft folder (before I knew there were two), and I received a “file not found” message. That’s when I discovered the duplicate folder and moved the backup files I needed into the newer Updraft folder. When I tried to restore again I got the migration message. Is it being called a “different site” because the backup would require going back to WordPress 4.8 from 4.9? Before I click through the warning, I want to make sure it’s not going to crash my site. Thanks!

    Hi @eglibrary,

There should not be an issue with restoring the backups that you have moved.

The check for determining if the site is the same can give a false result in some cases where backups have been moved and re-scanned.
One cause of this warning is if the site has changed from using ‘http’ to ‘https’
