UPDATE – I just looked at the page revisions and the missing content is all there in the latest revision but is not visible on the page.
Hello,
Thank you for providing the link, the content is there on the page but it is white. In this case you would need to apply a style to the unordered list element <ul> such as color: var(--wp--preset--color--primary) !important;. In the absence of any manual changes this may have occurred due to a plugin or theme update. I would start by looking in your theme configuration settings.
Thank you, by editing the list I was able to set the text colour for the list as the default black. However, this has forced the link in the item to be black instead of the link colour (blue) and I cannot find anyway to change it to blue. Please advise on how to achieve this – editing as HTML did not help
I am also concerned that a plug in update could have this effect and this needs to be reported as a bug. Do I need to keep the font plug in or just disable auto updates? I can’t risk this happening again, the site is not constantly monitored
UPDATE: I have changed the page and removed the list and replaced it with individual paragraphs. This has solved my problem but the concern over updates damaging the site still remains, please comment on this
Hello,
I am glad it’s working. I understand your frustration – unfortunately I can’t definitively say if an update to a theme or plugin caused this issue or not, only that it is a possibility. I would suggest contacting the relevant support for any plugins that control CSS on your site and your theme developer.
OK, thanks for the help – we can mark this one solved
