• Hey so I’m trying to test a site’s backup files locally to see if they work. I have installed XAMPP on a Windows 10 machine, installed WP locally and enabled multisite. I have a ‘main’ site that doesn’t have anything on it, but I’m leaving it blank so I can develop on it very soon. I would like to install this backup as a completely new site within the network, but (and I feel stupid because I’m sure the solution is easy and right in front of me) I can’t figure out how to do it. I have already imported the backup into phpMyAdmin, renamed it to what the wp-config file says, and drag-and-dropped the site folder into my htdocs folder (I also renamed the site folder). What should my next steps be??? I did change the site url and the home url within the options table to localhost/myccwp (myccwp is the database name and the site folder name). Should I have done that? I’m thoroughly confused….
