Restrict a plugin using multi site – good idea?

    I’m using Dreamhost and my site loads in under a second. (Yay!)

    I started using Ultimate Member and my site slowed to 4-6 seconds (boo!)

    Tell me if multi site works for this solution:

    I’ll have one site section as example.com, and another with Ultimate Member installed as example.com/community

    This way the plugin doesn’t slow down my public facing marketing pages, but it does add users to the same installed WordPress database.

    Is this smart or dumb?
