Restrict access by Custom Post Type?

    Hello,

    I am looking to restrict access by custom post type. Restricting access on a post-by-post level will soon become difficult to manage.

    Is there a way to easily restrict access to every post created from a specific custom post type? If so, can this be done with a snippet or a plugin/extension that currently exists?

    Just an update here. I posted the same question as a comment on the plugin website and another user presented this code snippet to restrict access by post type.

    Though I have not tried it yet, it looks promising and I’m excited to see if it works as advertised.

    note: you need to change the ‘Premium’ capability and “posts” to your custom post type.
