Restricted Access plugin No Longer Working

    I don’t know what has happened, Please Help. I have used the Restricted Access plugin forever and it has always worked even with (Autoptimize & Super Page Cache for Cloudflare). I just updated your plugin and now see “Page caching appears to be enabled. Restricted Site Access may not work as expected.”  I was going to test a new plugin (Seraphinite Accelerator) on my site and when I installed it this pop up came up saying “Page caching appears to be enabled. Restricted Site Access may not work as expected.”, so I quickly uninstalled it. I have tried to get the Restricted Access to start working again and it will not work. How can I get it to start working again ?

    So this admin notice has been in the Restricted Site Access plugin for over 6 years at this point, so it’s not a newly introduced thing. This message will show if the WP_CACHE constant is defined, which is usually done by a page caching plugin.

    RSA can still work in this situation but it also may be inconsistent as your site will be serving cached pages. So an unrestricted user may access the site and then that result will be cached, allowing a restricted user to have access as well. Ultimately this depends on your caching set up though.

    Curious when you say RSA is no longer working though? What issues are you seeing beyond this admin notice?

    Darin, Thank You for your information & reply. This was the first time ever seeing the “Page caching appears to be enabled. Restricted Site Access may not work as expected.” in the wp admin area. Have used your Restricted Site Access plugin for at least 3 years with (Autoptimize & Super Page Cache for Cloudflare) and they all worked great together all these years. I assume when I was going to try out the (Seraphinite Accelerator), that plugin made the Error banner start happening & Restricted Site Access stop working.
    You had asked “What issues are you seeing beyond this admin notice?”  The website was visible which was not supposed to be visible or accessed by anyone but me. I really do love your RSA plugin & Praying that it is working OK now even though the error banner for some reason still shows with no cache plugin on. Thanks Again & Have a Blessed weekend.
