The resubscribe button is shown if the subscription is not active. In your screenshot the subscription status is Pending, hence why it is showing.
Thanks for the reply. Is it pending because there is a free trial period? Does the button appear when it ends and the subscription should be active?
If the plan has free trial, the status should be Active if you had successfully gone through the checkout where you enter your credit card details or go through paypal.
A successful free trial subscription would show Active and not Pending.
why does it appear pending? other customers see it that way too. Maybe I made a mistake setting up the subscription plan?
What payment method do you have enabled on your site?

When a free trial is purchased or subscribed to via Stripe, users have to enter their credit card details, Stripe validates and save their card but it doesn’t get charged until after the trial period.
If you or your users didn’t do the above, their subscription would remain in Pending state.

I doubt that. Login to stripe and check if a free trial subscription was created inside of stripe for that subscription.
