retrieve_password() function not sending the email when plugin is active

Hello!

Truly Great plugin! It works like a charm.

We have an issue. The native wordpress function retrieve_password() is not sending the email when plugin is active.

We found this and we have followed the steps here but not luck:

If we deactivate the honeypot plugin, the function works as expected and sends the email.
If we activate the honeypot plugin, the function stops sending the “Reset Password” email.

Any idea how to fix this? Please advise.
