    Hello,

I’m starting with Postie. I’ve checked the whole support forum and I did not find any answer.

When one of my wordpress blog users tries to send an article, the post doen’t appear in wordpress, and the user recieves this message :
“RCPT address contains utf8 but remote server did not offer SMTPUTF8”

But it works with other users…

Could you help me and tell me what does it means? Maybe I did not set the plugin the right way. Or is it a problem with his mailbox?

I conifured the plugin this way :
    Prefered text type : plain
Mailbox to send posts to : personal domain (not a gmail.com)

    Thanks for your help !

Unfortunately this is an issue with the email server, Postie never receive these emails.

You can try talking to whoever is hosting the Postie email account.

I’ll Ask him to send mail from another email server, then.
