Returns empty HTML with the text "-1"

    “PayPal Express Checkout” does not seem to work.

    On staging it works fine, but on live site not.

    This is whats happens: Clicking on “checkout with paypal express” button returns an empty html page with the text “-1”.

    Here’s some additional information:
    Site is hosted on WP Engine. Site runs on SSL for all pages

    I’ve seen this with WP Engine on numerous occasions. I have never used them myself, but apparently there is something they need to do for you in order to get the site working well with WooCommerce.

    They have a post here about how to get your ecommerce site to work on WP Engine, which basically says to contact their support and they’ll help you get it fixed.

    Every time this has come up the person has responded saying they got it fixed for them, so I would give that a shot.

    Ok thanks.

    Solved now. “wc-api” had to be excluded from the varnish cache.
