    I have just installed this plugin as a way for our users to subscribe to new post notifications. When I tested it with an address of my own (from a different browser and not signed-in) I get the error “invalid email address”. I tried it with a couple of different addresses that are known to work otherwise. Have I missed a set up step somewhere?

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    Sorry but not willing to divulge the url on public forum.
    The site is now live so I will have to reactivate the plugin while you investigate.
    I’m pretty sure this has to do with the filters you recently put in place to help with spam registrations.
    Cannot find a way to PM you on wp.org, can I add you on messenger?

    I am facing the same problem. I tried with Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail. It says invalid for all.

    I don’t think I have to say another word considering there have been multiple people reporting this already.

    This issue is just happening now (April). When we installed this 3 months ago it was working perfectly fine.

    We are looking into this on priority. Kindly allow us some time to investigate it in more detail. I would get back to you once this has been thoroughly investigated.
