    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for GTM4WP, it is really great.

I have been using GTM4WP for this website for over 2 years and the revenue data from Woocommerce has always matched the revenue data from Google Analytics.

However, from March 2021 to date, the revenue amount in Google Analytics is about 1% – 5% of the revenue that’s available in Google Analytics.

So in other words, there is a revenue discrepancy between Woocomerce and Google Analytics, whereby there is far more revenue data in Woocommerce than in Google Analytics.

Please can you advise on this?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

To see what could cause this, you will need to find at least one day when this discrepancy is present and compare each order side by side using your data in WooCommerce and the order data in Google Analytics.

If you can identify which orders have different revenue data, you can analyze what browsers, devices those users were using. It might show some insight that could help us find an answer to your question.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for the reply and for the information.

So I have unchecked “Enable overriding settings in this tag”, and I have added “gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC”. These are the changes that I had not implemented since you updated the plugin to V.1.13.

Since making those changes the revenue data now matches between Woocommerce and Google Analytics.

Thank you for your assistance with this, it is greatly appreciated.
