There hasn’t been an option for this, but I just made an update to the plugin that adds this ability. You need to add the following attribute to the shortcode: revers=”1″. Example:
[ditty_news_ticker id="902" reverse="1"]
There is no automatic refresh of the ticker. It only happens on page reload.
THanks for the reply. I updated the plugin and then added the shortcode. It does show in reverse order now, but instead of scrolling one tick at a time, they all show in the widget box at once. Does updating reset anything?
I got the settings back to where they were, but now the reverse shortcode does not appear to be working. Maybe the reverse shortcode only works when certain global settings are checked?
I’m not sure why adding reverse=”1″ into your shortcode would do that.
When enabled, it simply takes the php array of ticks and reverses the order.
I am realizing now that I did not enable this for rotate mode on the ticker. I’ll make that update sometime in the near future.
Thanks again for your reply. All’s well that ends well. I’ll look forward to that change in rotate mode. Sounds like that will do the trick for me. If you think of it, can you send one more reply when you’ve updated the plugin.
… and thanks for adding this feature to your plugin!!
