    Is there a way to have a menu item show only if a user Does Not have a specific custom role?

    Thanks for any clarification.

    By default, no. If only 1 role, you could add a custom “pseudo” role and change how it behaves… See the FAQ: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/nav-menu-roles/#adding%20a%20new%20%E2%80%9Crole%E2%80%9D

    If you wanted to apply it to every role you could skip adding the pseudo role, but still modify the visibility via the nav_menu_roles_item_visibility filter… as shown in the FAQ for the pseudo roles.

    Hi Helga,

    I have the same feature request. I’d like to hide menu items from users that have a specific role. Maybe it’s worth thinking about a premium version of the plugin? 🙂 I am sure there are enough people out there that would pay for a premium version.
