    Good Day.

    I came across this plugin when i searched ways to improve my wordpress site speed.
    Before i download and install this, I would like to know if the changes this plugin makes has a rollback function?

    I’m using a few different plugins so im a bit weary that it might mess up things if i just run this?

    Also if it minimizes the jss and the css files, wont this interfere with the way plugins works? if it doesnt wat then will happen when the plugin updates? will it then have multiple instances of the minimized code and then their rewritten code ? and wont this then cause additional issues on the site?

    Kind Regards

    Hey sebascron ;
    Autoptimize makes no changes to your theme/ plugins original CSS/ JS, so if you disable AO (and purge all page caches) you will be back to where you were before.

    Optimizing CSS/ JS indeed does come with a risk of breaking things, but it is almost always possible to reconfigure Autoptimize to fix things (lots of info in the AO FAQ on troubleshooting and I give support here if people can’t figure things out themselves).

    If a theme/ plugin update comes with updated CSS/ JS AO will detect that and will reoptimize the code and keep it in its own cache.

    hope this clarifies,
    frank
