Review-Order.php file customization Issue

Hi there! I tried customizing the review-order.php file. I placed the file as given the guidelines “yourtheme/woocommerce/checkout/review-order.php” Still I couldnt customize it. The code I added is not reflecting on frontend. If I add the same code on plugin file, it is reflecting successfully. But, child-theme file is not working in the same way.
