Reviewer Security Roles

Right now, only Administrators are allowed to create or edit a review. We want to allow other security roles in WordPress like Author or Contributor (or even create a role like “Reviewer if possible) to be able to create and edit reviews.

Is this possible? How can it be done?

Hello,
The plugin uses the same user roles and permissions as the regular WordPress posts. So you can use any of the user role plugins available for WordPress to create a new “Reviewer” role and modify its permissions.

I tried using a User Role plugin editor
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/user-role-editor/

And then added “Create Post” as a capability to an “Author” role. The user plugin also had under “Reviews” as an option and I allowed “Author” to “create_posts” yet a user who is an Author still cannot create a new review.
