Reviews sync issue & widget improvements

    Hi,
    I’m currently testing the Gutensuite ReviewKit plugin and I’ve noticed a few issues and possible improvements that I’d like to report:

    Reviews sync issue
    During the reviews sync process, the plugin does not import all available reviews.
    For example, out of 20 existing reviews, only 6 are synced.
    It seems that the synchronization process is not correctly retrieving the full set of reviews.

    Improvements for the “Review Grid” widget
    The widget is very interesting, but it would be extremely useful to be able to:
    → define the number of reviews to display;
    → choose the order of the reviews, such as:
    → most recent,
    → oldest,
    → by rating (highest / lowest).

    Issues and improvements for the “Review Carousel” widget
    → Currently, the widget does not truncate review text. This causes the carousel to dynamically adapt its height based on the review length, instead of maintaining a consistent layout, which leads to layout issues.
    → Also for this widget, it would be very helpful to:
    → set the number of reviews included in the carousel;
    → define filtering and sorting parameters (e.g. by date or rating).

    I hope this feedback is useful to further improve the plugin.

    First of all, thank you very much for testing Reviewkit and for sharing such detailed feedback. It really helps us improve the plugin.

    Regarding the review sync issue: the plugin is currently designed to fetch and display the latest 6 reviews only. So this is expected behavior and not a syncing problem. We understand this may not be clear, and we’ll look into making this more obvious in the plugin.

    About the Review Grid and Review Carousel widgets — your suggestions are very helpful and well thought out. Some of these features are already in our development pipeline, and I’ve shared all of your feedback with our product development team so they can review and prioritize them.
