    Hello,

    1. We’re wanting to be able to schedule a revision of TablePress posts to be published sometime in the future.

It looks like the only way we could do this is using https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-auto-import/ which would require us to use an external program like Excel and then update the file on the server whenever we need to make changes to the table.

However, is it possible to set the update process to a specific date or something other than “every 15 minutes”, “hourly”, “twice daily”, or “daily”?

    2. Also, the site’s we’re looking to add this to are displaying the tables on at least one page, and then manually adding the data on other pages using divs. I see it’s possible to display a single cell’s content here https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-cell-shortcode/ but I was wondering if this would be the best way performance wise to display the table’s fields & values in this way without having to display them using tables.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    1. No, sorry, that’s not possible with TablePress or the Extension.
Your best chance here might be to use a separate plugin that offers features related to content being shown at certain times. Then, the table Shortcode would be that content.

    2. This should be fine, performance-wise, but might be a bit tedious to set up, with all the Shortcodes. But that depends on how many of such pages/divs/fields you are going to have.

    Regards,
    Tobias
