I do see there have been questions asked about Revisionized posts not publishing with the new date, but none of the solutions seem to apply to my issue.

I’ve used Revisionize to update four posts. I schedule a new publish date, but the new date and time goes by without the Revisionized post ever publishing. When I look at it in the dashboard it shows the original date for the original post.

The result is that the Revisionized post does not publish, and I have to go and redo the publish date. When I reset the publish date–usually I do this right after I verify that the Revisionized post did not publish–the post does go live.

Any ideas for how to fix this?

I have 10 plugins for this WordPress site, including Revisionize.

    The other 9 are:
Google Tag Manager for WordPress V. 1.7.2
SEO Keyword Suggestions by Hit Trail V 1.0.3
    SimplePie Core V 1.1.1
SimplePie Plugin for WordPress V 2.2.1
    Smart YouTube PRO V 4.3
    WP-Table Reloaded V 1.9.4
Yet Another Related Posts Plugin V 4.4
    Yoast SEO V 6.3.1

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    Nancy

To me it sounds like your “cronjobs” aren’t working properly. Where are you hosted? If it’s WPEngine, then most likely this is the case.

You can install a plugin called “WP Crontrol” to help get insight on your cronjobs.

Can you test scheduling a normal post (not a revisionized post). Does the same issue happen (doesn’t publish)?

Hi Nancy were you able to narrow down the cause? Was it related to your cronjobs not working properly?
