Rewrite rules must be updated

    I have recently installed WP SuperCache to https://www.equoogame.com however when I enabled ‘Expert’ mode I am presented with ‘The plugin could not update /home/cluster-sites/4/e/equoogame.com/public_html/.htaccess file: Page test failed as pages did not match with new .htaccess rules.
    Enable debug log on Debugging page for further details and try again.’

    However, I have already added the code to the .htaccess file manually to no avail. Additionally, I have double checked permissions on the file and it should have been editable.

    Hosted on 123 Reg if that makes a difference.
