Rewriting Category Permalink

    Hi there, I recently switched from RankMath to TSF. My recipe category URL used to be “blog.com/recipes” but now it’s “blog.com/category/recipes”. How can I revert it back to the previous permalink on TSF?

    Hello!

    Removing the category base is not helpful for SEO, so we never added this function. It can also cause URL-slug conflicts because WordPress doesn’t automatically test for the term and post slugs together.

    In any case, you can supplement this functionality using this extremely lightweight plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/no-category-base-wpml/.
