Right Sidebar Gone Missing

My right sidebar has gone missing overnight. It’s present on all subsequent pages, if I click to the ‘next page’. It’s also present on individual posts and other pages. Just not there on the home page. Now it is down at the bottom of the page.

I posted a couple posts and went to bed. I am pretty sure that the side bar was there last night.

Also, on pages where it is present it’s shoved a bit to the right in the column. It used to be centered.

I’ve looked through several entries here on the forum with similar problems but their remedies aren’t working. The width is still present on the style sheet, the posts I put up last night I took down to see if they were interfering. Not the case. I looked for a discrepancy between the index page and the style page. There doesn’t seem to be one.

I am wondering if it’s possible that the backup (which failed and has been failing for a while, different issue) that takes place every night could have done this? I deleted some plugins but I don’t think I did it last night. I think I did it the a couple days ago etc. It was messing with pages I suspect as I received an email from a reader saying pages were 404. But I can’t be certain. She’s from India and not really clear on what was wrong.

If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. I am considering adding the plugin, “Ad Rotate” to see if that fixes it like a patch. But it’s quite a bit of work to figure out that plugin and I should have the ads back up right away. Also, I’m not sure it wouldn’t just place the ads down below where they are already displaced.

This is my first jaunt through WordPress trouble-shooting. I took over the site a year ago and haven’t don’t more than post until now.
