Right sidebar widget not displaying

    Back again with a right/secondary sidebar issue.

    I thought I had the process to add a sidebar to an individual page sorted out.

    From the page http://columbiariversewing.org/shop/ I clicked on Customize, selected the Widget (Reg Page), set Secondary Sidebar as the location, and added the contexts. The widget no longer shows “inactive” for this page, but I’m not seeing the Woocommerce Cart and Woocommerce categories as I defined for the widget.

    Hi,

    Please try using sitewide options tab to setup your widget zone.
    And use Archives in your context.

    Denzel,

    After going to the sitewide options tab, I found that is how it was set up. Scrolling down, turns out the Reg Page widget was at the bottom of the sidebar, so I concluded that the issue is that Woocommerce treats the shop and products page like posts though they are pages (and further Google search bears that out.)

    My work around is to change the sitewide layout to two columns and the post listing is not displayed, and customizing the pages that need the right sidebar to add them back in. Not ideal, but it’s working.
