Rogue Posts to Facebook

    Hello,

    We are getting rogue posts to Facebook where every few hours a new post appears on our Facebook page that starts with ‘”” has been published on…’.

    These are really annoying. SNAP is the only plugin we have that posts to FB, so I am pretty sure it is coming from it.

    Can you please help us resolve this issue?

    Please check your log. SNAP never posts anywhere without a log record.

    Hi,

    So in the log there is this entry:

    [2016-10-26 12:01:21] – [Posted] [Facebook – All Saints FB Page] – OK – Message Posted | PostID: 10325 – |im | Post Link

    This went to one of the rogue posts on our FB page (which has now been manually deleted). If I look under Posts, there was no new post at this time. That being said, the PostID is counting upwards, but I can’t see what that is or where it comes from.

    I have now disabled Autoposting until we can resolve this.

    Can you please help us?

    Most probably you have reposter activated. Please turn it off in the account advanced settings.

    Ok. I didn’t even know that existed! I have now disabled reposting to both FB and Twitter and re-enabled auto posting. We’ll see if that stops the problem. Thanks!
