    Hey!

    Nice plugin. It’s nicely documented and fairly easy to use. Thanks for your contribution.

    I have a couple issues I was hoping you could help me with.

    First, despite “subscriber” being listed as the default role, when uploading it’s defaulting to “Contributor”. I have no role column in the CSV.

    Second, I haven’t had any success with uploading images to fields. I initially tried the ‘avatar_url’ since I found that in one of the discussions but that did nothing. I then decided to use ACF Pro to create an Image type field and added the column and URL to the CSV file. Sadly, no change. The images don’t upload. I’m using full URL (https..).

    When I upload the CSV, I get no errors and the user is created without a problem.

    Your help will be appreciated!

    This strange. Are you sure you are checking the correct one.

    Avatar URLs are not a default functionality in WordPress. We made a compatibility with this one: https://es.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-user-avatar/ to make possible to upload it.

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Javier,

    I’ll make sure that I’m doing doing anything on my end that’s causing it to choose contributor.

    Regarding the avatar, I’m glad there’s a solution you came up with through WP User Avatar. Unfortunately, it seems ever since it turned into “ProfilePress”, it has become a real nightmare for many users. I might have to look for another solution.

    Thanks again for your awesome support.

    @cl0ne,

    If you find another good solution for the avatar issue let me know and I will prepare compatibility with it.

    Regards!
