Role based access to submit

    I’m not sure whether the plugin requires a user role to be able to submit a post. author, editor, contributor etc or is it open to anyone signed in?

    I know I could probably use a user role plugin but it would be easier to use USP admin for this.

    By default, anyone can use the form to submit posts. The plugin also provides shortcodes that can be used to limit access based on logged-in/not-logged-in and/or user capability. There also is a plugin option to require the user to be logged in to submit posts. So you can use the shortcodes or just enable the setting, depending on your needs.
