• Hi,
Ever since the last update our permissions for roles seemed to have changed. Our Administrator role can’t update posts, but our Editor role can…

I’d like the Administrator role to be able to update Posts. (The administrator can see the Posts link and can click on it, but when they click “Add Media” or try to switch between “visual” or “text,” nothing happens.)

Were you using any plugins to manage or customize your roles? If so, which?

We are not using any plugins to manage or customize roles.

Ok, if you have WP-CLI installed on the server, run this command:

    wp role reset administrator

Details: https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/cli/commands/role/reset/ (and check your hosting provider’s documentation for details on accessing your server via SSH to run that, or ask your hosting provider’s support to run it for you)

If you don’t have WP-CLI installed on the server, or aren’t sure, ask your hosting provider’s support.

If you don’t have WP-CLI installed on the server, and your hosting provider won’t install it for you, please let us know.
