role to use Mapit

    Dear Chandni,

    how can I – as role ‘Administrator’ – make it possible that another user with the role ‘Editor’ gets access to the plugin in the WordPress backend so that s/he can build a “Multipin Map”?

    You can use any plugin which can assign access of individual modules to roles or users.

    sorry, no, I do not understand your advice.
    How can ANY OTHER than the ‘Mapit’-plug-in make the ‘Mapit’-plug-in visible in the backend for logged-in ‘Editors’?
    How can ‘Editors’ use the ‘Mapit’-plug-in?

    Hello Emke,

    There are plugins that help manage user roles and capabilities. For example ‘Advanced Access Manager’ or similar, can provide user role additional capabilities.

    You can install any such plugin that can help manage user roles & capabilities and the option to manage map will be available to editors as well.

    ah, OK, now I got you! I thought any of the already installed plug-ins would be able to switch also something for ‘Mapit’…! DAU.
    Clear: I have to install another plug-in to solve it.
