Just wanted to update this question. I’ve solved my issue by running version 2.1.7 of this plugin and seems to be working as expected. Hopefully this will be resolved in future releases. Thanks again for maintaining a great plugin!
I’m experiencing an issue with custom roles. I have a quantity rule set for registered users(customers) and guests. The rule works for guests but not for customers.
I do not have a custom table prefix.
Wordpress 4.1
WooCommerce 2.2.10
Advanced Product Quantities 2.1.9
Same problem here with 2.1.9, have set a rule that should only work for wholesale customer role, but when normal woocommerce customer is logged in, it’s also applied which is no good since now they need to order min of 3 items which should not be the case. Will trie to revert back to 2.1.7.
Reverted back to 2.1.7 solved the problem.
I have the same problem (and unfortunately no copy of version 2.1.7). But I do experience another problem, too: Once a user signed into his account, the quantity box is empty and not preloaded with the minimum value. With the arrows I can choose the right values. Even if the user logs out, the problem persists until I delete all cookies on the computer.
You never stop learning… 🙂 Many thanks!
Unfortunately, it did not solve neither of my problems.
I confirm, that i do have probably the same problem. And with 1.7 i had it too.
My setup.
1) I have:
“Edit rule” -> User Roles
checked box’es: Customer
When i login with a customer – i don’t see the rules working
2) But when i have:
checked box’es: Guest – and i login with guest (no login, actually) everything works as expected.
3) And lastly, if i TOTALLY match the User Roles, that user has (!) then it works as expected.
But it’s more logical for me, not to have logical AND but to have logical OR – because i have different User Roles for users, they all are Customers, but also they have their own User Roles “tuesday_delivery”, “friday_delivery” (or whatever). And without that 100% AND match, i can’t apply the rules – which makes me to create a lot of rules for each User Role, which is a headache.
The workaround for the moment is to configure min/step in each product manually, wich is not good/convinient.
Can you assist on how to make it logical “OR” for user groups, instead of logical “AND”?
Thank you!
I’ll open a new topic for this issue.

I’m having a similar issue.
I have a user role I want to have a minimum of 6 for a certain category, and another role I want to have a minimum 3.
I’m using the WPFront User Role Editor plugin to create the roles.
I had this working for the 6, but I changed the “role” of a couple of customers to 3 and now there is no minimum at all. AND any one I didn’t change, who used to have a 6 minimum also now has no minimum.
I also tried going back to 2.1.7 as suggested, but no luck.
Any ideas?
Did anyone find a true solution for this issue?
Thanks @Willem-Siebe, I was having issues too and the one you recommended worked great.
