    need the ability to amend the users role settings.
    can i restrict contributor from deleting my tables?

    Hi,

    You would need to remove the edit_posts capability to do that, which probably isn’t what you want as they could no longer write or edit posts. There isn’t a separate capability for the tables as the shortcodes form part of the post/page content.
