    make the redirects (Quick Redirects), start with the root and not the domain.
    i.e., for
    http://www.something.com/page/
    and
    http://something.com/page/
    you would just need one redirect and in the destination, put:
    /new-page/

    That would redirect either of the two URLs to the new page URL. This will let WordPress take care of the domain part (and do it’s normal redirecting of the initial domain based on your site settings) then take care of the redirect itself.
