Hi Guys.. I’m new to WordPress and really liking how BB is helping me build a community website.. At the moment the site is in development and I’ve encountered a ‘problem’ which I can’t see how to fix.. The issue is with how row background images are automatically resizing to maintain the same ‘aspect ratio’ whatever device a user us using. On the page I’ve shared with you the image does not resize to maintain the same ratio causing a lot of ‘wasted’ photo space below the into text.. However if you click through to the home page the header image DOES resize to maintain a constant aspect ratio. Somehow there’s obviously been something set (which I’d missed) for the home page that is not on the village hall page. I’ve been through all the settings I can see and they appear the same for both page rows… This is obviously a simple question for you guys but can you please tell me what’s been set on home page that’s not on the village hall page? Clearly I’d like it to act in the same manor as the Home page…

    Many Thanks
    Richard….

    Hey @raeast,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

Just took a peek at both pages and the background image is resizing accordingly. I also checked and both have the exact same set of styling.

Are you referring to the empty space below the text on mobile? If so, that’s caused by the empty column which has a minimum height of 40vh assigned on medium or mobile devices.

Removing that should fix you right up! 🙂

    Ben
