    Hi,

I’m unable to get any of the background settings to reflect on the frontend (they all work in the editor). Is a particular theme required for this plugin to work?

    Thanks

    Hey,
Thanks for getting in touch. You shouldn’t need any specific theme as long as the theme has standard WordPress hooks. Can you send me a link where you are seeing this I can take a look? Please make sure you’ve cleared any caching plugins you are using.

Sorry, it must have been my local environment, as it’s working now I’m on a different device. By the way is this plugin open source? I can’t see the uncompiled source.

Glad to hear it’s working. We probably should add the uncompiled source in one of the next versions. We should have a couple more blocks out soon too.

After some thought, I probably won’t add the dev files into the plugin. Gutenberg plugin doesn’t do this either. It makes more sense to leave the plugin size smaller. I’m working on the next update which includes 3 new blocks and a whole font control with google font support and once that is done I’ll work on getting some docs up for how to use the icon and font control in your own plugin and publish the dev files with those docs. Likely on Github or Bitbucket. I don’t have a timeframe for that though. If you as a plugin developer are looking for how to do something specific then shoot me an email and I’ll what I can to respond. [email protected]
