RSS date time format

I want to show virus news from bitdeffender in my webpage

http://download.bitdefender.com/resources/syndicate/VirusInfo/latestThreats-rss10.xml

I already doit but now i want to:

1. show time, rigth now only show date.
2. when the virus name is to long i want they end with ‘…’ , i like if i can set the amount of characters.

somebody can help me!
