RSS doesn’t work

    I recreated my website to a new remote host and RSS stopped working. When I try to add the feed to any aggregator I get “cannot connect to” error message – including MyYahoo and Bloglines. Yet, when I am logged in the website, I can open the feed in the browser as pure XML. When I log off from the site it often gives me “file not found” error messages. Any suggestions how can I resolve this serious problem? Without RSS… the world’s not right.

    When you moved your site, did you follow the proper procedures? http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/move/

    Sorry for bothering you all. I found the problem – my host prohibits remote access to non-index files to prevent from hackers. I had to move rss2 and commentrss2 files into subdirs, change connection to blog-header.php, make them index.php, edit all old occurances in the template… now it works. Sloppy, but works.
