    Hi,

    I’m trying to add an RSS feed element so that I don’t have to add snortcode on every single post/page individually. I’ve tried several widgets and plugins, but I can’t make any of them work. When I drag the widget over to the sidebar, no matter what position, it doesn’t take.

    The plugins seem too complicated. I don’t want to activate Mailchimp at this point.

    I just need something simple.

    Many ways of doing that:

    1. add a plugin (which it sounds like you tried)
    2. create a menu link with the RSS feed url
    3. use the social menu as your rss feed with an icon (and any other social profiles set

    Thanks. I got a working icon on the sidebar, but it’s not the one I expected. I’m looking for the standard RSS quadrant arc icon, but I’ll be damned if I can find it.

    Can you tell me what to put in the custom links box to egt this?

    Because this theme uses the font awesome icons, there’s currently two styles available. In the search, enter in rss and you will see what is available.

    I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The icon works perfectly, but it’s the ‘cog wheel’ icon and not the RSS icon and I can’t get the RSS one to show.
