    Hi, David!

    I posted my question:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/create-a-feed-out-of-the-media-library/#post-9541851

but I’m thinking that wasn’t the place to put it. 😀

I’m actually uploading a bunch of files to my Media Library this weekend and it doesn’t make sense to also create a WP post for each one since, thanks to your wondrous plugin and never-ending support, the files are all being automatically added to the Media Library page.

When I announce the new files on FB, I’d also like to announce the RSS feed to make everyone’s life easier, but I can’t figure out how to get it to work.

I know it’s lame, but would you please just tell me what the code needs to be? 😀

    Thanks!

    Kris

Good to hear from you again.

I’d like to work through the details offline and then post a summary here when we’re done. I have sent two emails to your Gmail account but have not seen a reply. If there’s a better address, please send me a message and let me know. Thanks.

I have released MLA version 2.61, which contains the “MLA Custom Feed Example” plugin that supports multiple RSS feeds with data selection parameters modeled on those in [mla_gallery].

To install the example plugin, navigate to the Settings/Media library Assistant Documentation tab and click the “Example Plugins” button. You will see a table that lists all the example plugins and gives you a “one-click” action for installing them. Type “feed” in the text box and click “Search Plugins” to filter the table. You are looking for “MLA Custom Feed Example” plugin. Find that plugin and hover over the title in the left-most column. Click the “Install” rollover action, then go to the WordPress Plugins/Installed Plugins submenu and activate it as you would any other plugin.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it or contact me offline if you have problems or further questions about the new example plugin. Thanks for your continued interest in MLA.
