    When people subscribe to my feed, it says “Feed ######” as opposed to “I Love Horror.” How does one fix this?

    Many thanks in advance!

    A link to your site would help but in the meantime check that you have entered the site’s name in Admin/Settings/General.

    My apologies.

    When I add the title in the Blog Title section of General Settings, it puts the text over my banner. Is there another area in which to do this?

    No. You need to hide the site title in your header from graphical browsers instead. You could try adding:

    #header h1 {position:absolute;top:-5000px;left:-5000px;}

    to your theme’s stylesheet.

    I did that and all it did was completely change the format of the site. Where exactly should I add it?

    Even when I add the blog title under Settings, the problem doesn’t get fixed. Any other suggestions? This is driving me insane.

    I get this error message in Feedburner:

    The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 2: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.

    Has anyone else. How do I fix this?

    Your feed validates (is okay) with the W3C, but it does mention this as a potential issue. Feedburner problems are common here, probably because that service is buggy, tetchy, or tricky to set up correctly.

    I’ve got the “The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 2: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.” message on Feedburner today too when submitting a totally valid feed with no w

    I’m guessing it’s a feedburner issue but am interested to see if anyone else has had this from WordPress?

    hi minnellium, i’m getting the same problem when i try to burn this feed http://lostgirlsworld.com/feed

    It validates, but feedburner won’t accept it.

    Did you ever figure out how to fix your problem?
